Alfred Wallis and James Dixon

Irish
1887-1970
He preferred paint brushes made from his donkey's tail.

The next three pieces are by Alfred Wallis, Britain's most famous "outsider artist."
He didn't begin painting until he was 70 years old.
1887-1942

Both men were fishermen.
They took up painting late in life.
Self taught.
